Many people think it’s historically inaccurate because the Tyrannosaur doesn’t have feathers, but a buzz cut is pretty standard for military personnel.
Totally accurate except that that Rex is a bit bigger so it’s actually a female Rex so she may have been pretending to be a male so she could fight. What an icon she is.
I like Together Alone makes a clear reference to Alone Together with reversed roles, where Steven is self conscious and scared of the gems watching him (and rightfully so) and Connie is the one encouraging him to relax and dance, but people are criticizing it as stupid on Connie’s part or the show using Connie to further the plot. What the fuck, guys? Connie wasn’t “out of character” in this scene, y’all just haven’t been paying attention to her character development. She feels out of character because she’s doing something that Steven would do, because Steven has always been the free spirit and she’s always been the bookish introvert with an affinity for swordplay…until now.
And let’s get a couple things straight before I drop the subject forever:
Connie is, like, 13 (12 and ¾ as of Steven’s Birthday). She is 13 years old. I don’t care if you’re the 13 year old version of Albert Einstein, you’re gonna fuck up every once in a while.
Connie. Does. Not. Have. Context. She may be smart, but she knows next to nothing about Homeworld. I mean, hell, even Steven’s pretty ignorant on this stuff, but at least he’s had enough negative experiences to know what pisses Homeworld gems off. Steven lives with victims of the Diamonds and is currently trying to heal countless other victims. Connie doesn’t have any of this, just a couple fights with certifiable ass kicking soldiers (Topaz and Jasper) and a high speed chase and confrontation with
Connie is a human child, barely a teen, a human on an alien planet among alien beings, and she made a mistake. Get off your high horses.
